Deadline for March 2021 print edition (issue #304) of Erie Gay News is Monday, February 15, comes out Tuesday, February 23. New Opportunity to Collaborate!

For the next Erie Gay News (issue # 304, cover-dated for March 2021), please send in online events, news items, and other info for late January 2021 and beyond by Monday, February 15. We expect that the next edition will come out on Tuesday, February 23. There is also a new opportunity for collaboration on a project to elevate the community!

On February 25, twenty-eight organizations will co-host two Zoom presentations on the 2020 Pennsylvania Health Needs Assessment results. It is thrilling that so many groups are working together! Thanks to everyone for helping to spread the word and be an important part of this community effort.

There is a new opportunity for collaboration that we would welcome your participation. There will be a food drive on March 20 from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Greater Erie Alliance for Equality office, 301 W 10th St, Erie, PA. There will be an article about this in the next Erie Gay News print edition and also online that will include all co-sponsors. To be included in the co-sponsors list, all that you need to do is notify by Monday, February 15, to info@eriegaynews.com and agree to share the event. We can also send you an invitation to your Facebook page to be included as a host for the Facebook event page. When the article runs in the print edition and online, your organization will be listed as a co-sponsor.

If you are writing an article for Erie Gay News, please try to keep it to 500 words or less; we generally try to have most articles be a page or less. (250 words is a half-page, which is also a good length.) We can post longer articles to our web site.

If you have anything happening in late February 2021 (or even later-we can always add items to the internal calendar for later listing), please get it to us by Monday, February 15. Please always bear in mind the "6-week" rule; if you have a special event that you want to let folks know about, you need to get us the details (even preliminary/tentative is okay) six weeks before the event takes place.
