New York, NY (January 27, 2021) - MTV today announced its new original digital reality series, "MTV's Following: Bretman Rock," starring social media phenom Bretman Rock, will premiere on Monday, February 8 at 4PM ET on MTV YouTube. New episodes of the six-week long series will premiere each Monday at 4PM ET.

"MTV's Following: Bretman Rock" is an exclusive look at all aspects of the content creator's life in Hawaii, following Bretman and his crazy crew as he navigates vlog life, new business ventures, his mom's impending move, and the recent passing of his dad, all amidst the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Bretman Rock is an Asian-American digital superstar, known for his outlandish comedy that is followed by over 35 million fans globally. Born in the Philippines, Bretman moved to Hawaii as a child where he resides on the island as a proud queer first-generation immigrant. Bretman conquered the beauty scene early in his career, releasing numerous makeup product collaborations with high profile brands like Morphe and Colourpop, and was crowned Beauty Influencer of the Year at the 2019 E! People's Choice Awards. In 2020, Bretman's "Jungle Rock" makeup collection launch with drugstore veteran wet n wild sold out online within minutes and was stocked at over 20,000 physical stores internationally. Bretman made his move onto the fashion scene at New York Fashion Week in September 2019, and has since been dressed by notable designers including Stella McCartney, Christian Siriano and Jeremy Scott. In November 2020, Bretman launched his first fashion accessories collaboration by creating an eyewear line with DIME Optics, which sold out within 24 hours and led to an expansion with e-commerce retail leader REVOLVE. He is an outspoken advocate and environmentalist who has a passion for causes that support our youth and the AAPI community, successfully partnering with nonprofits including the Ocean Conservancy, Make-a-Wish Foundation and Act to Change.
