Tyler Titus Elected Erie City School Board President

On Wednesday, December 1, 2020, Tyler Titus was elected President of the Erie City School Board. The vote was unanimous. Titus is the first openly transgender person to hold that position, and also was the first openly transgender person elected to public office in Pennsylvania when initially elected to Erie City School Board on November 7, 2017. Titus also serves as co-vice chair of the Pennsylvania Commission on LGBTQ Affairs.
