UK Asexuality Conference 2020

September 6th,2020 was an eventful one but this time, the event took place on YouTube. COVID-19 has not stopped the UK Asexuality Conference 2020 AKA AceCon2020 from happening and I got the chance to not only attend but to panel one of nine intersectional panels. The panels ranged from Aces and Ethnicity to research which offered hours worth of education and conversation which concluded with Ace activist/model Yasmin Benoit and AVEN founder and Ace activist David Jay giving a beautiful closing to the conference. With the conference over, there was a virtual meet and greet on Gather (a social media site) with Yasmin Benoit which lasted well into the afternoon and early evening (Eastern Standard Time). The Gather event ended on a boat where we all celebrated like it was 1999. Hopefully,we can expect the same in 2021
