Intersections of Equality Symposium on Nov 16

The 2019 GEAE Intersections of Equality Symposium will take place on Saturday, November 16 at the Black Conference Center at Penn State Behrend. Panels will include LGBTQ health care (LECOM), Art therapy, state legislative education by Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta (our first openly gay legislator of color in PA), HIV/AIDS education, queer art (reflecting gender, ability, sexuality, and cultural mythology), and local and state allies in the business, government, and non-profit sectors--and more! Student tickets are $15. Early registration is $25. Those who register by October 23 for $35 can receive a special two-for-one ticket for the symposium and the November Rufus Wainwright performance at Mercyhurst University. Tickets after October 23 will be $35 for the day. Penn State Behrend will offer professional continuing education units for an additional fee of $35. Register today!
