Jun 1 - 30 (Sat - Sun) - Regional LGBTQ Art Exhibit (Erie Art Gallery, 24 W 8th St, Erie, PA 16508) The Greater Erie Alliance for Equality (GEAE) is pleased to present a juried art exhibit of works by regional LGBTQ artists during Pride month, June 1-30, 2019, at the Erie Art Gallery. The exhibit will feature the works of LGBTQ artists who are 18+ years of age and who reside within 150 miles of Erie. We are excited that it will showcase not only the work of local LGBTQ artists but also that of LGBTQ artists from Cleveland, Buffalo, Pittsburgh and areas between. This exhibit will be a first for the Erie region. GEAE is proud to sponsor the exhibit and grateful to Erie Arts & Culture and SafeNet for their support. Jun 13 (Thu) - Erie VA Medical Center LGBT Veteran Care Coordinator guest speaker at VETX Speaker Series (Blasco Memorial Erie County Public Library, 160 East Front Street, Erie, PA 16507) 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM. The Erie VA Medical Center's LGBT Veteran Care Coordinator will be the guest speaker at the VETX Speaker Series. There will be a brief lecture highlighting the LGBT+ Veteran community followed by a Q&A session. Jun 17 (Mon) - Pride Night 2019 with Erie Seawolves (UPMC Park, 110 E 10th St, Erie, PA) 7:05 PM. This years Pride Night at the Erie Seawolves will be bigger than previous years. This year, along with a ticket to the Buck Night game on June 17, 2019, you will also receive a limited edition Erie Seawovles shirt with a rainbow bandana. All Veterans, their families and the community are invited to the Erie VA Medical Center's LGBT+ Pride event in the second floor conference rooms of the main facility located at 135 E 38th St., Erie, PA. We will celebrate the achievements of LGBT+ Veterans and their perseverance that led to the ability for Veterans to openly serve! There will be a brief presentation followed by a resource fair of both VA and local programs/organizations.
