The E3 Youth LGBTQA Summit converges April 12-13

from E3 Youth LGBTQA Summit

This spring Erie, PA will host the region's first summit focused solely on engaging and empowering LGBTQA youth. The summit is organized by the local advocates and is open to all young LGBTQA youth, their families, and those who work with LGBTQA youth. The target age range of the youth will be 12 to 21 years old. E3 is designed to connect and engage LGBTQA youth, and those in their world, so that we can create a more supportive, safe, and empowered community. The Summit will take place at Strong Vincent Middle School in Erie. Schedule of events is here.

The opening event will be Friday, April 12th at 6:00 pm. We will gather to honor the National Day of Silence and enjoy music by Ryan Cassata. Check out Ryan at ryancassata.com as well as Facebook, Twitter, and InstaGram.

Saturday, April 13th will begin with breakfast speaker, breakout sessions, lunch, followed by afternoon breakout sessions. The summit will come to a close with a panel discussion with local LGBTQA activists.

Keynote Speaker is Amanda Carter-330, who went to law school, studied in Paris, and has lit up stages and sound booths with her rapping. But her most important work came with an afterschool program dedicated to giving voice to children within the city of Harrisburg. YouTube.com/330music
