LGBTQ Youth Group Kickoff on April 21

TransFamily of NWPA is very happy to announce an exciting new LGBTQ Youth Group for the northwest PA region!! Through a partnership the YMCA of Greater Erie, TransFamily is developing a group for all LGBTQ youth that will make use of the YMCA Teen Center at the Downtown YMCA. The LGBTQ Youth Group Kick-Off is Saturday, April 21 from 3-6 PM at the YMCA, 31 W 10th St, Erie PA.

Erie has long been lacking in a safe environment for our LGBTQ youth to gather and socialize, and this will be a great way to get out, make new friends, enjoy some really fun activities, and create the group that you would like to see!!

Youth are not required to have a YMCA membership to participate, however, you must complete a free application to use the Teen Center, which requires a parent's signature. Sign up to use the YMCA Teen Center, learn more about what the Center has to offer, and tell us what you would like to see in YOUR LGBTQ youth group. We are building this from the ground up an need your input!! Free and open to youth 12 and older, and parents are invited to the kick-off as well!!
