Planning announced for LGBTQ Youth Program!

TransFamily of NWPA is very excited to announce that we will be creating an LGBTQ Youth Program. The goal is to create a program that offers much needed social opportunities and peer-led support to the LGBTQ youth of Erie County.

In order to ensure that this program meets the needs of our LGBTQ youth, we are looking for 12-15 teens of all sexual and gender identities, aged 12 to 18, who would like to be part of an all-youth focus group that will be used to plan what this program will look like. The focus group will consist of a series of 6 to 8 questions to get more information about the needs of our youth and what we can do to make this YOUR program. This is your chance to have your voice heard!

As we identify youth to participate, we will work to schedule the focus group on a Saturday afternoon at the Downtown Y Teen Center, 31 West 10th Street. Pizza and pop/water will be provided.
