Ashtabula Family Picnic

The Ashtabula GLBT Outreach Alliance held our first Annual Family Picnic on August 22nd, 2009 at Geneva State Park. What a wonderful time we had! With over 75 in attendance throughout the picnic, we can honestly say that it was a success!

The entire organization wishes to thank everyone that was involved in helping as well as those who attended! A special thanks goes out to our performers for the event (Romeo Chaos, Nikki Stone, Madame Weez, Cynthia Forenza, Collin Disorder, and James Von Loewe!) and those who volunteered for setup and tear down!

We also had the honor of having the Youngstown PFLAG group as well as All Families Matter and Pride Youngstown in attendance. It was so wonderful to have the support of the various different organizations throughout the area, showing the unity that is needed to really bring change to our area!
