Andrea Shaffer

Andrea Shaffer (she/her) has volunteered with Erie Gay News for many years as one of the publication's photographers. She also enjoys helping EGN with folding and events, as it allows her to spend time with friends while being supportive of the LGBTQIA+ community. She also helps out with Erie Pride events and is always willing to lend a hand wherever help is needed. Andrea is a graduate of Langley High School in Pittsburgh and the Community College of Allegheny County, where she studied Nuclear Medicine. She currently serves as a co-leader of the LBT Women of Erie group. Beyond her work with EGN, Andrea enjoys photography, especially birds, and traveling with her wife.
