The Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Charlotte in early September made history in many ways. Perhaps the most important was the vote on the platform on Tuesday September 4 where I was in attendance to vote with the New York delegation on adding the following statement to the Democratic platform:

I have been endorsed by and have qualified for three party lines in the fall election in my campaign to be re-elected Jamestown City Council Member at Large.
