Erie Transgender Day of Visibility on March 31

International Transgender Day of Visibility is an annual holiday occurring on March 31 dedicated to celebrating transgender people and raising awareness of discrimination faced by transgender people worldwide.

Please join us at the Mental Health Association of NW PA, 1101 Peach St, Erie PA (PLEASE NOTE! Location changed because of weather reports predicting thurnderstorms!) on March 31 at 6:30 PM for this year's theme of #MoreThanVisibility. Visibility is important and it is not enough. We must take action to ensure that all transgender people can live fair, dignified lives. Come with your poems, your stories of discrimination, and any other experiences you want to share with the group as we #ShineALightOn discrimination towards our community. Also, if you're comfortable, come visible with TRANSPRIDE signs, stickers, posters, whatever!
