Speakers included Brit Wager and her fiancee Kathy Eads, Heather Burrows, ME4PA founder David Moore and ME4PA co-founder Joshua Szczesny, Democratic candidate for governor John Hanger, and engaged couple Erin Moll and Amy Terrizzi.

Local organizations present at the vigil included NW PA Pride Alliance, Erie Gay News, Identity, LBT Women of Erie, Allegheny College Queers & Allies, and Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Erie.
