The Erie Sisters will hold their monthly meeting for October at 7:00 pm at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 7180 Perry Highway (Route 97) in Erie on Saturday October 27th. The Erie Sisters will host the 13th annual Lake Erie Gala beginning Wednesday November 14th and concluding on Sunday November 18th at the Avalon Hotel, 16 West 10th Street in Erie. The event includes tours, vendors, raffles, themed dinners and entertainment, and attracts members of the transgender community from all across North America. The Greater Erie Alliance for Equality and Persad Center in partnership with the Erie Sisters Transgender Support Group will hold a Trans awareness film screening and discussion on Saturday, Nov.17th at 3 pm in the Avalon Hotel, 16 West 10th Street in Erie. The film, entitled Gender Redesigner, will be open to all members of the community and general public. Please note that fAe Gibson, the subject of the documentary, will be there for discussions and questions. Discussion will follow the film.
