July 24 - Edinboro University Campus “Highland Games” 9 AM Free. Afterwards, we will all meet at Kim and Andrea’s home for the LBT Women’s 2nd Annual Potluck Picnic! Noon till 2 AM For directions call Kim at 490-3994.

July 25 - Discover Presque Isle We will meet at 10 AM at Waterworks park for Pancake breakfast at the pavilion there, and then we will check out the craft vendors on bosides of the road. If you are going to attend this event, please e-mail Laurie at LFinch003@neo.rr.com so we will be looking for you. Cell is s 450-8804 but reception at park can be bad.

July 27 -8 - Great Tuesday Concert: Abbey Road and then The Night Cruisers at Liberty Park on the Bayfront. Concerts start at 6:30. You can bring snacks and non-alcoholic beverages, do bring a chair or a blanket to sit on. Watch for large rainbow umbrella

July 27 - Erie Seawolves Jerry Uht Park, 110 E. 10th, in downtown Erie. 7:05 PM We always have the same seats, Section 202, row HH seats 16-19 so you can ask for seats closest to us.

Aug 7-8 - Blues and Jazz Fest At Frontier Park. We can’t say where we will be claiming our chunk of land to park on and enjoy the concert, but again, you can call 450-8804 or stop at the EGN info table and we will be sure to let them know where we have set up.

Aug 13 - St Paul’s Italian Fest Dinner, games (Jan & Laurie) 5:30PM. Laurie’s cell is 450-8804, but if you let us know you are coming we can wait for you to get in the dinner line.

Aug 14 - Seawolves game Jerry Uht Park, 10th & Holland, Section 202, row HH seats 16-19. 7:05PM

Aug 15 - LBT Women’s Meeting at the Presque Isle Gallery and Coffeeshop, 35 Peninsula Drive in Erie 1:00PM

August 22 is our Fireworks Cruise on the Victorian Princess. Celebrate Erie Week always closes wia large fireworks display. For $15.00 you can get a ticket to board the Victorian princess at 8:45 PM to sail at 9 PM. We will go into the bay and anchor for a spectacular view of the fireworks. Aug 26 - Erie Gay News Folding Party. 7PM It is a great way to meet a lot of people, Mike Koehler’s home at 614 Cherry Street.

August 27 - Pontoon Boat Ride. Leaves Lagoons at 7, back at 8:30. Free but you must register the Monday morning before the ride. Only 20 seats, first come, first served. If you want to go call Jan or Laurie at 456-6645 or e-mail me at LFinch003@neo.rr.com by no later that Friday the 20th. Jan will call and make the reservations on Monday Morning. When you e-mail me (Laurie), leave your e-mail address so I can get back to you and confirm that we did indeed get the reservations. If youd leave a message, leave your name, phone number and how many seats you would like.

Aug 28 -Polish Festival in Erie. Meet 5:30 for food, then festival, games, and stuff. (Jan, Laurie 450-8804).

Erie GLBT News/Events:		GLBT news, events and announcements for the Erie PA region. This is the largest list we maintain.
Erie Gay Business Alliance:		Networking for professionals and those working for a better Erie.
LBT Women:		Discussion/Event group for gay/bi womyn
Menspace:		Social group for Gay/Bi men that meets in varying locations. The attendees are a broad range of ages, backgrounds, demographics, etc. Although the dates for Menspace socials are listed on the Erie Gay News calendar, some guys prefer not to list their home address. Join this list to find out where to meet new friends!
Rainbow Families Erie:		Our focus is on LGBT families and our children. We plan monthly outings that are family oriented, and focused on our children forming bonds and friendships with families like ours. Families with mommies and daddies, children of all ages and those who wish to begin the journey into parenthood are welcome.
Young LBT Women:		Social group for young lesbian, bisexual and transgendered women who are 21 to 40 years old.
Youth/Student:		Discussion group for students and youth and those who work with them.
GLBT Lobby:		Discussion list for lobbying area legislators about GLBT issues.
GLBT Voters/Activism:		GLBT people and their supporters who are involved in politics and activism, or who want to be.
Picnic:		This is the planning committee for the annual Erie Gay News Family Pride Picnic that happens in June each year. If you want to be in on making this happen and helping out, join up!
Monthly Reminders:		Do you plan events or have news that you would like included in the print and online version of Erie Gay News? Join this list, and we will send you a reminder once a month before our deadline to send in news/events/etc.
