LEAGUE Foundation to Award College Scholarships for 14th Consecutive Year
Bedminster, NJ – The 2010 LEAGUE Foundation scholarship program is now receiving student applications until April 30, 2010.
Since 1996, LEAGUE Foundation has continued to grow in its mission of providing financial resources for America’s Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender youth to attend institutions of higher learning. Now in its 14th year the LEAGUE Foundation has awarded its 79 scholarships and applications have been received from students from all 50 states. Financial support has been received from corporations, individuals, and other GLBT organizations.
Applicants should graduate high school in 2010; identify themselves as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, or Transgender; have achieved a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale; are actively and substantially involved in community service; live in the United States; and have been accepted to attend an accredited college or university in the United States.
