Once a year, my workplace gives out a gift certificate for a local market. Today, I figured that I would head over there and use it. (I usually am only at this establishment once a year.) I had taken the copies last year on Christmas Eve, and had a very nice time at the party that night at Sneakers. The funny part is that after making . . . → Read More: Christmas Eve

I was reminded tonight how very lucky I am. I got some geek stuff done for the newsletter and the copies showed up for folding. At about 6:30, I realized that if I was somewhat quick about it, I could get the dogs’ walk in before heading off to folding. So I got back . . . → Read More: Everything I really need I already have

I am doing fairly well, but I do feel as if this is a pretty packed weekend. I was up way too late on Thursday night checking on upgrading the software for one of the web sites I maintain. I was getting all sorts of weird errors, but I finally got it back to . . . → Read More: Busy weekend

The Second Harvest Food Bank of NW PA held their 22nd Annual Bread Box Awards this afternoon, and I went with some other folks from the United NeoPagan Council of Lake Erie and the LBT Women of Erie. The LBT Women of Erie have been very helpful with the Pride Picnic where we collected . . . → Read More: Bread Box Awards

My friend Fran Reinsel passed on to after a long illness. She had been part of the SHOUT Outreach program at Gaudenzia to fight HIV/AIDS and had also worked at the Erie County Department of Health. She was unfailingly cheerful, kind and deeply concerned about those around her. She was a truly good person.
