WingNutDaily canceled Ann Coulter (AKA Our “Friend” Flicka) because she spoke at a GOProud convention. So, crazy right wing site disapproves of vile right wing commentator for speaking to a group of gays who (in my opinion) are seriously deluded and probably have some self esteem issues. (Presumably, GOProud asked Ann Coulter to speak because Dr. Laura Schelssinger was already booked.) Note how Ann Coulter pretty much says that she took the speaking fee from GOProud, even though she doesn’t endorse them – i.e “if you losers want to give me money to speak to you, I’ll take it.”
I have no clue who to root for in this tussle as I am not a fan of any of these folks. And for WingNutDaily and Ann Coulter. In my best Mrs. Garrett voice from Facts of Life: “Girls, girls! It’s okay: you’re BOTH hateful!”

The once-ubiquitous Ann Coulter can’t even get a gig with the wingnuts these days: WorldNetDaily has dropped Coulter from its Taking America Back National Conference after the conservative icon agreed to speak at a gay conservative group’s Homocon convention. "Ultimately, as a matter of principle, it would not make sense for us to have Ann speak to a conference about ‘taking America back’ when she clearly does not recognize that the ideals to be espoused there simply do not include the radical and very ‘unconservative’ agenda represented by GOProud," said WorldNetDaily’s founder Joseph Farah. Coulter responded by saying "That’s silly, I speak to a lot of groups and do not endorse them.” She will, however, keep her column for WND.
