I had a belated birthday dinner tonight at Mom’s. I picked up my brother and we all had a nice time visiting. My stepfather brought over a package of yarn that my Mom had bid for on Ravelry.com, a knitting site that she particularly enjoys. The yarn was very cheap, although the postage was huge, since it came from China.
When she opened the package, we found 6 skeins of lovely hand dyed yarn. I think skein is the word I am looking for.
The also inexplicably included a miniature set of handcuffs. The handcuffs came with a blue charm attached, as well as a skull and crossbones charm. You know, just because!
My brother likes skulls, so Mom gave the handcuffs to him. My brother has a cat, so not sure if there is weirdness in the offing.
