There have been some emails flying back and forth for the UNCLE board. Our secretary had a slight misspelling for the last name of our current president AKA Hot Straight Rich, which led to him being declared Lord High Cornhole. (His last name is sort of similar, but some letters crept it and one thing led to another.)
I finally said what I guessed everyone was thinking and said that, if anyone, wouldn’t that title fall to me?
“No, you are my unik” was the reply. I believe that “eunuch” was the intended word, but “Unik” looks like Unix, so it made me think of a computer programmer (so very true) who does not have sex (so very NOT true. And yes, I am smiling as I type this, thank you very much.)
Discussing a different matter, a member made a reference to the former belly dance troupe, but it came out as Temple of Baste. It was actually Temple of BAST (named for the Egyptian goddess.) I said that Temple of Baste would be a great name for the kitchen at Pagan Pride Day, and we should consider doing a cooperative venture with the Synagogue of Sauté and the Parish of Pan-Fry.
