I probably spent way too much time on geek stuff today, and figured it would be good to leave the house and interact with other human beings. (Call me crazy.) John and Paula were going to Greek Fest with Paula’s parents and her sister/brother-in-law. Lisa and Dom also showed up. So, I headed over since it is rather a tradition. As I was walking onto the grounds, I bumped into my friends Jan and Laurie with their granddaughter, Haley, I also bumped into several other GLBT folks, and also some Democratic Party folks.
At one point, Paula asked John to get them a dessert and said that she would stay here with me, her GPS (Gay Positioning System.) Hee! We were watching the Grecian Odyssey dancers from Pittsburgh after that, and there was a group of guys doing the Sailor Dance. I quipped that it would doubtless be followed by the Construction Worker, the Cop, the Indian Chief and finally the Leatherman dance.
All in all, it was a very nice evening. I am thinking of going out tonight, since I didn’t go out last night. (Well, to the bar, anyway.)
