I was saddened to read of the passing of Rosalie Struble. From when I was 13 to when I was about 20, I was a news carrier for the Erie Times News, and for the first several years, Rosalie was the person that I would go to on Saturdays to settle up after having collected on my paper route. She was terrifically kind and a very thoughtful person. She had 4 kids. Her daughter Jewel baby sat us when my parents were both working over the summer, and her other daughter Lydia was friends with my sister.
A few years back, I had been in the news for GLBT stuff, and I got a call from her. It was wonderful catching up and she was so kind and supportive.
My condolences to her family. She was a truly good human being.
