I was working late last week on getting all of the upcoming events for Erie Gay News calendar section. One of the bars mentioned that they were doing an Easter them on Saturday and would also be open on Easter Sunday. They also mentioned that they were having a drag show on Friday, which would be Good Friday.
I have to admit that my warped imagination ran away with me. So, if we were going with Easter as a theme and doing a drag show, would someone dress up like Mary Magdalene? Or maybe (pushing the envelope here), a drag performer should use the stage name Urgin’ Mary for the evening, possibly with some hunky backup guys, with stigmata denoted by glitter. (Okay, pretty much on the Amtrak to Hell for that last one, but it pretty much screamed out as a possibility.)
