Several of us from Erie Gay News went to the 80′s Rewind Dance that the Junior League of Erie held last night. It was a lot of fun, and I was glad that we were helping a good cause. The joint was packed to the gills and everyone was having a good time.
At one point, they were playing a slower song, so I ended up slow dancing with my friend, James. No one gave us a problem, and one woman said softly as she went by that it was good to see “family” at the event.
I then mentioned about the LBT Women’s group, and about Erie Gay News. Then I handed her a copy of the print edition.
It turns out that she is moving here from out of state within the next month or so, so I felt very good that we helped let her know that there are resources here.
