About a year ago, I spent much of my year end vacation scanning in issues of Erie Gay News that we only had in print and posted them as PDFs to the newsletter’s site. I am a very big believer in preserving history.
Today, I got a phone call from a woman about her cousin, a nun who died back in 1994. She was looking for a poem that her cousin had written, and found Erie Gay News while googling. Deb had written an obituary and mentioned some achievements.
The woman who called me was very pleasant and friendly, and I felt great that we helped someone find out more about a loved one.
