I went in yesterday for a hair appointment, and my hair stylist was talking with someone who looked familiar. It turns out to have been a guy named Rick that I went to elementary/middle school with, and whom I haven’t seen in probably close to 30 years. it was great catching up. He was there with his wife. He reminded me about when we had done a recording of the War of the Worlds for a program that we were both in. It was a lot of fun.
The night before that, I had bumped into a friend out at the bar, and he invited me to an impromptu dinner party he had on Saturday night. I showed up, and it turns out that I was the only person to attend. We had a very nice time talking, and I am glad that I went. Needless to say, there were quite a few leftovers, so I took some home that he had offered. When I went out later to push the candidate forum at the Zone, I bumped into him and we chatted a bit. He is coming to the candidate forum tonight.
Oh well, I need to go finish up on domestic stuff.
