My good friends Laurie and Janice were at folding tonight. This would be the same couple that was on the front page of Erie Times News and Erie Gay News a while back as a couple.
Laurie told me a cute story: apparently, some Jehovah’s Witnesses had stopped by. Janice told the granddaughter to go get the newsletter. So, when the Jehovah’s Witnesses were trying to push their literature, Janice said that she would take theirs if they took hers and proffered a copy of Erie Gay News. The Jehovah’s Witnesses demurred that they were just trying to educate/enlighten. Janice said that was all that she was trying to do.
