Well, I guess for a candidate who thinks that the lower limit for being rich (as opposed to middle class) is $5 million, and who is unsure about how many homes he has, this sort of thinking would make sense.
John Goodman, McSame’s advisor, is arguing that since folks can’t be turned away from an emergency room, that no one is uninsured. See? Who cares that emergency room health care is ridiculously expensive and probably means that whatever the health issue is, it has already gotten pretty bad. The government just will spend more money, but at least those insurance industry lobbyists will get what they want.
