So, the 16th Annual Erie Pride Picnic is this Saturday, June 28 from 1 to 6 PM at the Rotary Pavilion at Presque Isle. Full details are at the web site. I really enjoy the event, but I am usually also tremendously neurotic the closer we get to the event. My only goal is that my friends are still speaking to me by the end of this weekend.
Tonight is shopping for pop and etc with Jeff. Tomorrow is picking up stuff, including ice, buns and assorted what not. I inventoried what we have, so that should be fine.
A guy from Pittsburgh was going to come up and take video of Pride weekend, but he just emailed me to say that he couldn't make it. Thank heavens we were able to notify the guy who was going to drive down there to pick him up on Saturday morning.
I sent an email to the Erie GLBT News/Events list to remind them about the picnic and also see if there was anyone willing to shoot video, and get it to me on a DVD for Gay Life TV to edit into a coherent whole. We also have folks who are taking photos.
So, here is to hoping I don't drive everyone around me crazy!
