Erie Bloggers bonus session was fun

We had a very nice get together last night at Panera's Yorktown as Eden was back in town since they had sold their house (which must be very nice not to have to worry about any more, for them.) Although this was technically a bonus session, it was actually bigger than the rather small one we had as the official get together earlier this month.

Kim showed some photos of the yummy treats that she is making. Kim also noticed a sly grin on my face when Hawk (Eden's husband), mentioned getting out a harness so that their toddler, Holden, could move around. I gave in and joked that Holden should be certain to establish what the safe word was. (No, it wasn't THAT sort of harness, but it got a laugh.)

ron also stopped out with Brandy, who hadn't been before. Brandy seemed to have a good time. Holden did a good job of charming all the adults.

Melissa also managed to make the trek up, so it was great seeing her as well. When we were discussing vegetarian stuff, she mentioned that she had very rarely been carnivorous, but it was usually when hanging out with certain friends or in certain circumstances. We got silly about joking about guys getting her drunk to slip her some meat. ("No, not a euphemism for sex - we mean that quite literally.") I had an image of a vaguely pimp/perv looking guy opening his trench coat to reveal rows and rows of bacon.

All in all, it was a delightful evening, and we all had a grand time!

Hello pretty lady. Would you like some bacon? Very good price.

I have probably used this before, but you do realize that if you derive pleasure from watching other people consume meat, then you are a carnivoyeur.
