My weekends tend to be busy. The Pride Picnic meeting went well. We are still fairly far out, so it is not like we are crazy-busy yet. Mike from the Zodiac Dinor came and was extremely helpful with planning for the food stuff. I feel really good about the people that are working on the project this year.
In addition to the Pride Picnic on Saturday, June 28, followed by the Pride March/Rally the day after, I also want to see if we can get folks to turn out for the Millcreek 4th of July Parade the Friday after that. I have had good experiences the past 2 years, and I think it would help the community if we are part of generic events, just like everyone else. (My usual rant of late has been "If we don't have a gay ghetto here, how is it that some people manage to never leave it??")
After the meeting, I chatted about Drenched Fur stuff with Gary and Jeff. It was pretty good. I am not sure when the wrap up meeting for DF4 will be. We are already getting registrations for Drenched Fur for next year. Wahoo!
