For some time, I have been using MailMan, which was bundled with my web host for hosting the various email lists I maintain. It's okay, but I have had problems since the Erie GLBT News/Events email list has over 800 addresses, and it is problematic having the host relay that many.
So, I moved everything to Dada Mail, which is better, and which has the additional virtue of supporting an SQL backend. (Therefore, I should be able to move the lists if I ever change web hosting companies.)
