I had a very nice chat with my friend Aelis. We hadn't had the chance to talk in a while, so it was great to catch up. She has a new puppy named Orlando (from the character in Shakespeare's As You Like It) that is a cross between a Maltese and a poodle. She and I have been friends for the better part of 20 years now.
Later, I spent some time with Ken. Things are going fairly well with us.
It was just nice to have a night where I didn't have to be somewhere or do something specific.
