I knew today was going to be sort of crazy, so I tried to get as much stuff done on Saturday as possible.
I went to the Obama info session that my friends Jeff and Gary hosted. Chris Young of Pittsburgh, whom I met back in 1991 when the League Of Gay and Lesbian Voters was starting in Erie, was going outreach to the GLBT and also Asian communities. Most of us at the event were already supporters. One of the attendees is going to be working with a local restaurant to set up an event. I stayed afterwards and chatted with folks.
Today was brunch with Mike and Deb and talking about the newsletter. When I told Ken, he pointed out that 2 PM was rather late for brunch. So I said, "Fine. We will refer to it as 'lupper' then." Alas, I haven't been able to see Ken since Thursday night.
This evening at 6 was the final committee meeting about Drenched Fur. We looked over the run guide and I sent it off to the print shop. I also posted the run guide as a PDF on the left sidebar at the site.
Still more emails and tasks that eventually need to be caught up on, but I think that the domestic stuff is fairly well done.
