Sigh. I still feel like there is way too much happening at work, and I am close to snapping at people a lot more than I like. I spent a large chuck of yesterday and today chasing down an issue with one customer in the fundraising package that was mostly rooted in not having a space at a certain point in a connection string. Aargh! Meanwhile, stuff feels like it is piling up.
I did get some wonderful relaxation with the Erie Bloggers. Hanging with my blogger buddies helps keep me sane. David had some interesting info about the proposed community college. From what I have first heard, this sounds like a desperately needed resource for this area. I am looking forward to learning more.
David from Mike Waltner's campaign came, and I also had a good time talking with him. I also played arts yenta for my friend Toni by trying to get her in touch with Steve from Great Lakes Film Festival about promoting the visual arts in the area. Toni is really talented and an absolutely nifty person.
As we were getting ready to leave, Andy said how much he appreciated that the Erie Bloggers group was so diverse on so many levels. It absolutely made my day. It is extremely important to me when I feel like I can help create a social environment on which lots of people can feel comfortable.
