Kudos to Charles Barkley for correctly labeling those extremists who have hijacked the Bible to act as a cover for their own bigotry.
Can I just mention how much I cordially loathe when some religious right whack job encloses marriage, family or other words in quotation marks when referring to the GLBT community. Having your authenticity questioned by someone else isn't so fun, huh guys?

I have always followed basketball, and Charles Barkley has been my all-time favorite player. Now I know why I like him so much! I like the way he wouldn't back down to any part of his statement, even though the interviewer gave him more than one chance to clarify what he meant. You and I understand what (who) he was talking about, and I hope they all hold their breath waiting for his apology!
