I spent what was probably way too much time with the new Palm TX that arrived today. I had some compatibility issues with some old Palm applications, but through a series of a couple of back flips and sneakiness I got it to work.
I decided to go out to dinner, and tried to play around with WiFi for the first time. Well, I was sitting at Applebee's on West 12th Street, I discover that they do indeed have WiFi. Who knew? I should keep this in mind for a future Erie Bloggers thing.
I was bummed because the adaptors for both syncing and charging the Palm were each different. I couldn't find a charger at any of the stores I went to, but then I realized that I could sync to my PC at work if I did it via the network. Niftiness! It is amazing how easily I am amused.
I'm now going to do a bit of domestic stuff, and go out to Trance for their final night. It's always good to do something with actual real life human beings at least once a day. :)
