Weird thoughts in the dentists office, weird dream

I went in for the semi-annual check up today. I looked over and noticed that on the main column of the dental equipment (no idea what the right terms are here), there was a sticker for Autism Awareness, but it effectively wasn't likely to be particularly noticed. I figured that the people most likely to notice it would be people who actually were autistic, because other folks would probably be engaging in conversation with the hygienist or something related to the cleaning. (Oops, does it mean that since I noticed the sticker that I am possibly autistic?) I guess it is sort of like the fact that if you speak with a lisp, you can't properly say the word "lisp."

The weird dream for last night: My friend Jeremy and I were at some sort of Catholic/Christian church during a service. Jeremy and I were Pagan (as we are in real life), but Jeremy was going along with the Catholic thing for some reason. We were in the front, looking at the congregation, and it was our job to read a scriptural passage at the appropriate point. There was some kind of numbering sequence in the margin, but it was very confusing and it seemed like there were at least 2 intermixed series of numbers. I was in charging of reading passage 455. (No clue what that was.)

At one point, the priest/minister got annoyed with us for some infraction and gave some small punishment to be fulfilled at a later date. I smugly thought that it didn't matter to me, since I wasn't coming back. (I think I thought something like "Dude, I am just here helping out a friend.")

Finally, I was supposed to read my passage. I was frantically flipping through the book. I could find 465 and 1000-something, but not 455. The text was just swimming before my eyes. Finally, a rather pleasant large-framed woman in a pink dress came up and helpfully pointed it out. I think that the number indicating 455 was buried in the text, rather than being indexed in the margin. It almost hurt my eyes to read it.

No clue what the dream meant, if anything. I do feel that memorizing text and being able to repeat it back tends to not make me feel spiritual at all. I always feel like if I need to be able to express something in my own words if I am really going to be in touch with the Divine.
