RSS Feed for GoErie.Com

Hmm, when we had the readers panel at the Erie Times News, I asked about whether the web site has an RSS feed. The tech person there from CyberInk said that it was right on the front page on the site.

Hmm, okay, I don't know how many people use RSS feeds extensively (or at all), but I couldn't find it on the site and Feed Demon couldn't auto-discover it.  Aha! I just saw the text link at the top, so I did find it.  They do have a lot of info that they need to maintain and again, I am not sure how many people use RSS, so unclear as to how much of a problem/issue that is. I just took a gander at Erie gay News to see how I had set it up. I only have to worry about 1 RSS feed, and I have the link in the sidebar. (I think of myself as a pretty crappy layout guy, so I freely admit that my perspective here doesn't count for very much.) Hmm, maybe if the link for  RSS feed was highlighted in orange? I tend to associate the color orange with RSS feeds. Again, this is probably a really minor point.

I am also wondering if it would be better to have the word Search next to the search bar at the top. (Thumbs up for having it displayed prominently, but I wonder if it could be labeled a bit more clearly.)

I am also not clear on what the difference is/should be for the Home tab as opposed to the Erie Times News tab. If the site is for the Erie Times News, then it seems like those would likely be the same. I think that the other tabs seem to make sense and be appropriate.
