My friend Rich had a very delightful Menspace last night. The weather was not the greatest, but quite a few made it into town. I met the couple that is hosting Pizza and Porn next month, and they also expressed an interest in Drenched Fur, so I sent them info about that. Towards the end, some of us helped Rich clean up and we headed out to the Zone.
I bumped into quite a few folks who mentioned that they were going to try to make it to folding at the Zone this Tuesday.
Later on, I was on the dance floor with my friend Jeff. I haven't danced in ages, and we were having a grand old time boogying. A rather cute young black guy sidled up and was dancing near me, and we ended up basically dry humping on the dance floor. I should mention that I had my cell phone and PDA clipped to my belt. (It probably looks like I have Batman's utility belt on.) While we were bumping and grinding, I looked down at the floor and realized that in our gyrations, my Palm TX had come unscrewed and was lying on the floor. For some reason, it struck me as very funny.
Actually, it was pretty odd as I had cute younger guys chatting me up and flirting several times that night. I had a nice chat with a guy from Penn State and a wonderful chat with someone who works in the media.
All in all, I had a marvelous time and it felt great to connect with so many people.
