How completely odd? I just checked my voice mail at home, and I had 2 voice mails: the first from a Republican candidate for Erie City Council, and the second for a Republican candidate for PA Superior Court. I am not sure about the Erie City Council candidate, but the Republican candidate, Bruce Bratton, seems to not be particularly gay-friendly.
I am just highly amused that they left calls pleading for votes for a lifelong Democrat (and webmaster for the Erie County Democratic Party web site, not to mention a committee person.) Weird that they were grouped together. Maybe if these folks had made an effort to make better contact, it might have been less ridiculous.
