Hmm! 2 very interesting slide shows about gay celebrities, both out and not so out. This is from WCBS TV in New York City.
Early/not out gay celebrities. (I had heard about Aaron Burr before, but Richard Deacon, who played Mel Cooley on The Dick Van Dyke Show was news to me.)

I knew about most of these but some were new, although not surprising. Although at the end, I said aloud, "BD Wong is gay? Damn."
Actually, BD Wong has a son with a previous partner, Richie Jackson. He wrote about the experience in a book entitled Following Foo. You can read more at http://unofficialbdwong.com/foo.htm.
I haven't seen BD in too much, but I have heard him in the cast album from the revival of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown."
