OH NOESS!!!1! My account are decativated!!!

Sometimes spams just makes you chuckle. I got the phishing email below.

Subject: Your credit card has been decativated

Dear Franklin Mint Credit Union customer,

We regret to inform you that we have received numerous fraudulent emails which ask for personal account information. The emails contained links to fraudulent pages that looked legit.

Please remember that we will never ask for personal account information via email or web pages.

Because of this we are launching a new security system to make Franklin Mint Credit Union accounts more secure and safe. To take advantage of our new consumer Identity Theft Protection Program we had to deactivate access to your card account.

To activate your card please call (641) 665 6018 (and be prepared to have your account sucked dry, sucker!)

Activation is free of charge and will take place as soon as you finish the activation process.

Notice the spelling error in the subject line. (Not good, guys!) How does one's credit card get decativated? Does this mean that if Henry or Puck steals my wallet (which is sort of hard to do without opposible thumbs, admittedly) and try to buy a couple of kilos of catnip, they would automatically be declined? (Hmm, that's a good thing.)

There is a LOLcat just waiting to happen here, I just know it.
