Heracles & trip to emergency pet center

I was just about ready to go to bed, when I noticed that my dog Heracles was salivating rather more than normal. I thought it was odd. Then it got worse - he threw up, and was having muscle convulsions. He could barely stand. Very scary! I panicked and called the regular vet, which gave me the number for the NW PA Pet Emergency Center. I was afraid that he had a stroke or something. (I didn't see any injuries, and I couldn't think what he could have gotten into.) I went up there. They were asking about anti-freeze or possibly some topical flea stuff. I did give them the latter, but that was yesterday. It was a really sudden onset.

I think he will be okay, but I am not sure. It was definitely NOT a cheap date. I am feeling potentially guilty if some negligence on my part is at fault.

I have to pick him up at the vet's between 7 & 7:30, i.e. in not much more than 5 hours from now. Sigh. I just hope that the poor guy is okay.
