Gulp. I am hoping that this was a freak occurrence. Last summer, James and Deb helped put in some fencing in the back yard, as Heracles could jump the lower fence on that side. Having the dogs contained means that I can let them out and not have to closely supervise them.
Last night, they were outside, and I heard Hecate bark. I let her in, but couldn't find Heracles. I went out front and saw him coming around from the neighbors. I couldn't see a hole in the fence, or anything obvious, apart from a slight bend towards the top.
Holy crap, what is he? Part kangaroo?? (Hmm, he is an Australian Shepherd.) I am going to look more closely when I go home for lunch.
Major bummer if this is now an issue. I guess I shouldn't be mixing Mexican jumping beans in with their food. ;)
