Christ on a surfboard. And a bull.

Hat tip here to the ever delightful Sara. Sara is a very committed Christian with a wonderful sense of humor.

Anyway, there is this site, Fishermen, which is selling action figures of Jesus Christ in all sorts of action poses or outfits, with a motto like "I am Spirit", "I am Strength". I think that they are serious about this. (And also seriously tacky.)

So, we also have Rodeo Jesus riding a bull (I think it should officially be called a papal bull), waving a cowboy hat with the motto, "I am Strength" We also have Camoflage Jesus holding a dove saying "I am Peace." (And is it just me, but doesn't military camoflage sort of seem an odd choice for that particular motto?) Jesus also gets to ride a motorcycle. (Go ahead. Someone has to make a Hell's Angel-based joke here. I'll wait.) Skateboarder Jesus. Soccer Jesus.

And, of course, it's all for sale. I know we all have different ways of dealing with spirituality, but this just makes me guffaw. Oh well.
