Car woes

Sigh! I was going out to deposit a check for the newsletter and grab some dinner. I noticed that I had a flat tire shortly after pulling out, so I stopped to change the tire. I was using the weight of my body to loosen the bolts, as they were really tight. I ended up trying to loosen one of them, and it snapped off! Not good.

I called my friend Jeff and described what I had been doing. "And the bolt broke off?" he asked. I felt like an idiot.

Jeff very kindly came over and tried to get the other 2 bolts loosened. One of the 3 remaining bolts snapped off when Jeff was working on it, so I now have a car that I can't drive until I can get it hopefully towed to the shop, and repaired. (And Monday is pick up newsletters night and Tuesday is distributing newsletters. Gulp!) I am hoping that this is something that can quickly and easily be fixed. Not fun.

Well, I wasn't feeling inclined towards going out tonight, and it seems that the final choice was just made for me. Groan.
