Once a month, Deb and I go out to dine with Mike, the graphics designer for the newsletter. It is sort of a tradition for the staff of Erie Gay News. (Okay, so there are just 3 of us. Whatever!)
Today, Deb wanted to go up the tower at the Tom Ridger Environmental Center. It was a nice view, and she took some photos, that we loaded onto Flickr.
Around the tower were 4 signs with quotes. See if you can figure out which one seems slightly different from the others.
"The tree is far more than just a seed, then a stem, then a loving the trunk, and then dead timber. That tree is a slow, and during the force straining to win the sky." Antoine de Saine-Expury
"A lake is the landscape's most beautiful and expressive feature. It is the earth's eye's looking into which the beholder measures the depth of his own nature." Henry David Thoreau
"The sun from the western horizon like a magician extended his magic wand o'er the landscape; Trinkling vapors arose; and sky and water and forest seemed all on fire at the touch, and melted and mingled together." Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
"We hopped in backwards and after a jerky start, the ride was underway. After the first completely unexpected drop, my friend was hooked! And I was laughing uncontrollably..." Visitor to Waldameer Park
