I mostly caught up on domestic stuff this weekend - lots of laundry, vacuuming and etc. The glamour never stops! It never seems like enough, but I guess that it is good enough for now.
Deb got the face photos from the March/Rally ready to post, so they are now included on the Friends and Supporters page. We are now over 200 people with their face photos! I am sort of doing this as karma-free revenge against those folks who fret that they can't be out. If 200 people can show their faces (and an overlapping number of folks use their full names), then it hardly seems that scary. I also really want everyone possible to have a chance to be in the spotlight.
I am still going back and forth over how to scan and post pre 2002 issues of the newsletter. Stuff from the start of our second run (beginning with the December 2002 issue), is already online as a PDF and has all articles available as HTML pages. I probably won't worry about posting calendar or resource stuff from the past, but I may try to do OCR or some stuff that has historical relevance.
I am experimenting with the full version of Adobe Acrobat and OmniPage. Not sure what will ultimately be best for looking the same/getting the text right. I really want to get all the history up there. It seems like folks mostly just look at photo books when I cart stuff to area pride events.
Deb and I had a nice lunch today. We went over some stuff for InDesign CS3, and we got a book to make it easier. I also went over some of the administrative pages I use behind the scenes for entering events and resources.
Oh well, I should walk the dogs, I guess.
